1 c. chopped onion | ||
1 clove(s) garlic, minced | ||
¾ c. sliced mushrooms or a (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, undrained | ||
1 (14.5 ounce) can Hy-Vee diced tomatoes, undrained | ||
1 (6 ounce) can Hy-Vee tomato paste | ||
½ c. water | ||
½ tsp. salt | ||
1 bay leaf | ||
dried thyme leaves | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce | ||
½ to 1 tsp hot pepper sauce | ||
½ (16 oz) package Hy-Vee thin spaghetti, uncookes |
Directions
- In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, brown meat, onion and garlic. Cook until meat is thoroughly cooked; drain.
- Stir in mushrooms and remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Simmer 30 minutes, discard bay leaf.
- Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Serve hot pasta with sauce.
