    2 oz. chai black tea concentrate
    2 oz. cold water
    1 oz. Hy-Vee whole milk
    ½ oz. Torani vanilla syrup
    1 cinnamon stick, for garnish
    1 star anise, for garnish

    • 4-cup heat-proof glass measuring cup or storage container with lid
    • Tongs
    • Plastic wrap
    • (12-oz.) glass
    • Spoon

    Directions

    1. For tea concentrate, bring water to a boil in a tea kettle or a saucepan. Pour water into a 4-cup heat-proof glass measuring cup or storage container; add tea bags. Steep, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes. Gently squeeze bags with tongs and discard. Loosely cover the concentrate with plastic wrap or container lid and refrigerate until tea concentrate is completely cool. Store in refrigerator up to 5 days.

    2. For each serving, stir together tea concentrate, cold water, milk and vanilla syrup in 1 (12-oz.) glass; add ice. Garnish with cinnamon stick and star anise, if desired.
