    1 lbs. 95%-lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    ¼ c. chopped green bell pepper
    1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp curry powder
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon
    1 tsp. dried ginger
    4 Hy-Vee whole wheat hamburger buns, split

    Directions

    1. Preheat grill.
    2. Combine beef, onion, bell pepper, curry, cinnamon and ginger in a large bowl.
    3. Divide meat into 4 parts, and form each into 1/2-inch-thick patties.
    4. Grill over medium heat until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees, about 5 to 6 minutes on each side. Serve patties on hamburger buns.
