1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened | ||
1 c. powdered sugar | ||
2 c. thawed Cool Whip, plus additional for garnish | ||
3 packet(s) instant chocolate pudding | ||
3 c. milk |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together flour and 3/4 cup chopped nuts in bowl. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until crumbly. Press into a 9-by-13-inch cake pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
- Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread onto cooled crust.
- Whisk together pudding and milk. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve. If desired, garnish with additional Cool Whip and chopped nuts at serving time. Refrigerate leftovers.
