3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, split in half | ||

6 thin slices cooked ham | ||
6 thin slices Swiss cheese | ||

⅓ c. Sauterne or white cooking wine | ||
1 (3 oz) can sliced mushrooms | ||

Directions
- Pound or tenderize chicken. Sprinkle with salt.
- Place 1 thin slice of ham and 1 thin slice of Swiss cheese on each breast. Roll up chicken breast and tie with string.
- Roll each piece in flour. Brown lightly in butter or oil.
- Place chicken breasts in a casserole with a lid.
- Place 1/4 cup water, chicken bouillon cube, wine and mushrooms in the same frying pan in which the chicken was browned. Bring sauce to a boil. Pour over chicken in casserole dish.
- Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hours.
- Check often to make sure liquid has not boiled off. If so, add more water.
