    1 lbs. lean ground pork or lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
    2 green onions, thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 tsp. minced peeled fresh ginger
    1 c. shredded carrots
    ½ c. stir-fry sauce
    5 large iceberg lettuce leaves
    Diced red peppers and sesame seeds, for garnish

      Directions

      1. Brown ground pork and mushrooms with green onions, garlic and ginger in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain.
      2. Add carrots and stir-fry sauce. Stir until heated through.
      3. Let filling cool slightly before spooning about 1/2 cup into each lettuce leaf. Sprinkle with red peppers and sesame seeds, if desired, fold and serve immediately.
