    Things To Grab

    • Large stockpot
    • Colander
    • Medium saucepan
    • 6 serving plates

    Directions

    1. Cook gnocchi according to package directions. Drain; keep warm and set aside.

    2. Add olive oil and butter to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add shallots, green onions, and ginger. Season, to taste, with black pepper. Cook until shallots have softened, about 5 minutes.

      Hyvee Culinary Expert Tip
Olive oil and butter are commonly used together when it comes to sautéing. The mixture of olive oil and butter keeps the butter from burning and releasing a bitter flavor.

    3. Add salmon, prosecco, smoked paprika, crème fraiche, and vodka pasta sauce. Cook 4 to 5 minutes. Slowly whisk in heavy whipping cream and cook 6 to 7 minutes, or until slightly thickened and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.

    4. Add cooked gnocchi into sauce. Add Dubliner cheese. Divide between 6 serving plates and serve, garnished with additional Dubliner cheese, if desired.
