    2 c. sugar
    1 c. soft margarine
    2 large eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. flour

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. Beat sugar and margarine together. Beat in eggs. Stir in sour cream and vanilla.
    3. In separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder and flour. Stir into creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    4. Using a floured pastry cloth and rolling pin cover, roll out cold dough and cut into favorite design. If necessary, return the pastry cloth with dough inside to the refrigerator while rolling out to make it easier to handle. Transfer cookies to a cookie sheet.
    5. Bake about 10 minutes. Remove before edges start to brown and leave on cookie sheet to finish baking. Remove to wire racks to complete cooling.
