8 oz. uncooked whole wheat spaghetti
¼ c. Hy-Vee Select extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. chopped garlic
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper flakes
2 tsp. Hy-Vee Select white wine vinegar
¼ c. chopped fresh parsley
Parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain spaghetti; reserve 1/4 cup cooking water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until garlic is lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar.
  3. Add spaghetti, reserved cooking water, parsley and Parmesan cheese, if using, to the skillet. Toss gently. Serve immediately.
