8 oz. Italian turkey sausage | ||
2 cloves garlic, minced | ||
1 c. chopped onion | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee chicken broth with 40% less sodium | ||
1 (14 oz) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed | ||
8 oz. fresh spinach, chopped | ||
8 oz. cherry tomatoes, halved | ||
Hy-Vee shredded Parmesan cheese, for serving |
Directions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- In a large skillet, cook sausage, garlic and onion over medium-high heat until the sausage is cooked through and onion has softened.
- Add broth and beans; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add spinach and tomatoes and cook for 1 minute, until spinach has wilted. Stir in pasta. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
