Strawberry Orange Salad with Ginger Vinaigrette

¼ c. Hy-Vee canola oil | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee honey | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select white wine vinegar | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground ginger | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt | ||
1 head(s) Romaine lettuce, torn | ||
2 oranges, peeled and sectioned | ||
1 ½ c. quartered fresh strawberries | ||
3 green onions, sliced | ||
2 oz. Hy-Vee pecan pieces, optional |
Directions
- In a screw-top jar, combine oil, honey, vinegar, ginger and salt. Cover securely and shake well; chill.
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, oranges, strawberries and onions.
- Shake dressing and pour over salad at serving time; toss gently to coat.
- Top with pecan pieces, if desired.
